Announcements given for Sunday 9/3/23
New Website Is Now Live!
Our new church website is now live! Visit www.fairwoodumc.org for a newly designed website. This visitor-focused site has simple navigation and is viewable on all types of devices (mobile, tablet and desktop/laptop). Since it is a work in progress (yes, we know some things still need work), please let Heather Spates know if you see something that needs updating. firstname.lastname@example.org
Youth choir starts Oct 1st 11:15-11:50 in choir room
Youth in grade 5 through high school are invited to sing in YOUTH choir. Rehearsals start on Sunday, October 1st, after Sunday School and illumin8 classes. Meet in the choir room at 11:15am until about 11:50am.
We will be learning new songs and some favorites to sing in church worship services and teach to the congregation. We will also help lead a special Christmas Eve service. Come bring your friends and make a joyful noise! For more information or questions contact Bill or Lori McEwen.
Join The Chancel Choir
We just started a new choir season. If you have sung in choirs before or have had musical training, you will have no trouble learning the anthems. Performances are twice a month and rehearsals are Wednesdays at 7:15 p.m. or after the Sunday services.
