Renton CROP Hunger Walk- Sunday, April 28 *Walk- 1:30PM- 4:00PM Runners starting first

*Registration- at NEW SITE 1:00-1:20 all walkers sign in

    at Renton Community Center –  back, west door

*Welcoming/pictures- 1:15                        

Join our fun Renton CROP Hunger Walk to help end hunger in Renton and around the world along the beautiful Cedar River going east.

4.4 miles is 31st Ave and back.  The “Golden 1.2 Mile” is to the first checkpoint at Riverview Park, or walk what you can.

Snacks, drinks, and rides back (by request) are available at checkpoints.

If you are unable to be at the Walk, you can do your own personal walk.

 

This is Renton’s 41st Walk sponsored by REACH Renton.  Our Walk has raised over $779,000, with over $194,750 helping Renton food agencies.

25% stays here locally, helping the Renton Salvation Army Food Bank, the Margie Williams Helping Hands Food Bank, S. King County Shelter with CWS (previously ARISE), St. Vincent de Paul Food Bank, and REACH Renton – Center of Hope and other food programs such as holiday meals. 

75% goes to Church World Service (CWS) for world hunger and disaster relief, impacting over 35 countries.

 

“We Walk- Because They Walk!” so dress for all weather

Strollers and wagons OK.  No trikes, bikes, blades, or skateboards please.

Dogs are permitted.  City requires leash and bagging.
