Extra 2024 Calendars????  Please consider donating them!

We are so grateful to recently receive our new members. If you are considering
membership, the next date we’ll receive new members is January 14th.

A decision for membership is always a great time to celebrate our life together as a
church family!

Celebrate a special occasion or remember a loved one by providing flowers on the altar for a worship service. Sign up on the 2024 Flower Calendar in the narthex/entryway. It’s on the bulletin board between the office and the nursery.

Our committees and work areas determined revisions for our projected expenses
for ministries in 2024. We received generous pledges of financial support from our
congregation for next year. We expected a considerable deficit in 2023, yet it looks
like we’ll end up with a positive balance! Because of all these elements, the Church
Council was confident in approving a 2024 budget that includes a small deficit. We
will monitor our financial outlook in the coming weeks and make any changes as
needed.

If you’re missing something and may have left it at church over the past year or so, check the table in the gym/MPR on Sunday. We’re going to donate any ‘lost and found’ items that are not claimed by December 24th. Someone may be happy to use the jackets or other items.

use for scholarships or supplies. (You may also contribute to your pledge or other
designated ministries.) Contributions may be put in the offering plate or checks

Thank you to our generous congregation for your recent donations to our giving
tree!
The gift cards and presents you donated were distributed to the Way Back Inn, the
Renton Salvation Army, and the Atlantic Street Center for their support of needy
families.

For Christmas Eve on Sunday, December 24th, we plan to have two worship
services at 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm. The 4:00 service will feature our youth and
young adults leading our music. The 7:00 service will feature our adult chancel
choir leading our music. We will also share in Holy Communion at the 7:00 service.
We’ll light candles while singing Silent Night at both services. Both services will
offer in-person worship and be livestreamed for you to view and share with your
friends and family.
Pastor Ferdie is taking a break next Sunday, the 31st. We’ll have a family friendly
worship service (no children or youth classes) with a guest preacher, Katrina
Fitzpatrick.

A Reminder from the Worship Committee –
The Prelude centering music begins at 10:00 and it is time to quiet ourselves and
prepare to worship God.
