Don Trimble Memorial Service Nov 15th 2:00pm - Seattle, WA
Come celebrate the life of Don Trimble! Join T.J. and Cailin and the rest of the
family and friends as they remember his life.
The memorial service will be held at Haller Lake United Methodist Church on
Sunday, November 15th at 2:00pm.

Paul Hartman Memorial Service 11/14/26 - Renton WA
Join us in celebrating the life of Paul Hartman. Join Bruce and the rest of his family
and friends in remembering Paul.
The service will be held here at our church on Saturday, November 14th at 1:00pm.
A reception will be held after the service.

Youth Choir - Advent Season 
We invite all 6th-12th graders who enjoy singing to join us for our youth choir
practices in November and December as we prepare to sing in early December and lead the 4:00 pm Christmas Eve service. We would love to add more singers to our group for the holiday season.
We meet in the choir room each Sunday morning from 11:15-11:50 (except Nov.

Salvation Army Thanksgiving Donations
Join our Thanksgiving Sharing with Renton Salvation Army Food Bank- Sunday
mornings, Nov 1, 8 & 15.
The Salvation Army Food Bank is mainly asking for funds for turkeys, but also
needs food. You can help with $$$ donations for S.A. to buy turkeys and/or bring in food donations.
Please make monetary donations to Salvation Army by:
Cash- please put in envelope labeled “Renton Salvation Army- Thanksgiving”.
Check- please make out to FCUMC, and in memo: “Renton Salvation Army-
Thanksgiving”.
Online- our Church Website, Give, Donate, Salvation Army
Food Donations: Most needed are broth, dressing, fresh or canned vegetables (but not canned green beans, cranberry sauce, potatoes and yams. Also welcome: pumpkin pie mix (with spices only), apples, pie crust.

Joe Meyers is taking the food down weekly, as he is volunteering at the Food
Bank. He will deliver the check early, so the Salvation Army can purchase the
turkeys. The S.A. has a new leader, Daniel Noland, who thanks us for the donations for Thanksgiving.

All Church Charge Conference 11/8/2026
Join us on Sunday, November 8th for our annual All-church Conference meeting at12:30. All members can vote for new leaders and other business items, but
everyone is welcome! Rev. Ric Shewell, from Faith UMC in Issaquah, will preside.
We will host a salad potluck at 11:30 in Benedict Hall multi-purpose room (gym)
prior to the meeting for a bite and some fellowship. Bring salads in coolers if they are perishable; we don’t have a lot of refrigerator space at the moment. Questions
