Children’s Creation Care – 4th Sunday of the month.
August 24th, we will pick some blackberries and share berry ice cream sundaes!
Outdoor exploring and games too!
Be sure to wear ‘OK to get dirty’ clothes and shoes. Siblings or adults are welcome,
especially if they have wee ones.

We are so grateful to recently receive our new members. If you are considering
membership, the next date we’ll receive new members is September 14th.

Membership orientation will be held after worship on Sunday, August 24 about
11:30am in a classroom of Benedict Hall. Grab a snack and join Pastor Ferdie to
learn about membership.

If you are curious or if you have questions about membership, please contact
Pastor Ferdie at pastorferdie@fairwoodumc.org. Look for the brochure in the
narthex, “So you’re thinking about joining the Church.”
A decision for membership is always a great time to celebrate our life together as a
church family!

Membership Secretary Needed:
• Maintain and update church membership records
• Assist our M&E team
• Contribute to outreach by keeping our faith family connected
• Detail-oriented individuals who enjoy practical ministry

Students! Bring your backpack to worship on Sunday, August 24th to start your year
with a blessing. Pastor Ferdie will also offer a cool button for you.
If you’re online, just have your backpack with you. You can get the prayer button at
church during office hours (Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 12:30pm).
As we start this school year, it’s good to support students big or small, with care
and prayer.
