February 18 Ash Wednesday Service @ 7pm

This Wednesday marks the start of our Lenten journey.
As we ponder on the symbolism of ashes,
may we be reminded that not all of Lent is covered with the symbolism of ashes.
The Lenten journey will continue and,
give us the symbols of communion elements,
palm branches, the cross, and finally an empty tomb.
If there is a part in your soul that feels burnout,
If your faith or hope is tainted with char, remember…
Life will emerge from the ashes of our failures.
Love will heal our aches and hurts.
Life will sneak its way back into our church to restore us whole.
But this Wednesday, we will start with ashes.

If you are joining us online and you don't have ashes,
please use water or oil in marking your forehead during the service.

If you want to receive ashes in the morning so you can wear it during the day,
please come to church anytime between 10am to 12pm.
The service will be available online and inperson at 7pm.
