Author Reading of American Teenager 3/7/26 3pm in Bellevue
Hear from author Nico Lang in Bellevue (at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church) as they share the stories of trans youth chronicled in their award-winning book "American Teenager." It will be held at 3pm on March 7th 2026 in Bellevue. This reading/discussion is hosted by PFLAG Bellevue/Eastside on trans kids surviving hate and finding joy. - Heart for Others Team
United Women of Faith- Field Trip
On Thursday, March 12, we are carpooling to the White River Valley Museum
in Auburn. Sign up in the narthex to let us know you plan to come. We will meet
at the church at 11am to carpool, or you can meet us at the museum at noon. We
will be enjoying lunch in Auburn after our museum visit.
The Traveler and American Democracy - Rick Steves Screening
The Heart for Others team will be conducting a video screening of Rick Steves’
speech titled, “The Traveler and American Democracy” that was held at
Edmonds Center for the Arts on January 30th. Rick Steves examines how lessons
learned on the road can help Americans better understand and meet the challenges
facing Democracy in the USA. The screening and discussion will be on
Sunday, March 8, at 11:30-1pm, in our sanctuary, for the congregation
and the community.
