Holy Week
Join us for Holy Week worship! All worship services (except Easter Sunrise) will be
livestreamed to YouTube and our website.

Palm Sunday March 29th We’ll use palm branches as we remember Jesus entering Jerusalem
for the Passover festival. It’s the start of the events that eventually led to his death
on a cross.
Maundy Thursday April 2nd 6:30 p.m. simple soup supper in the MPR/gym and 7:15 p.m.
worship in the sanctuary. If you can contribute a pot of soup (bringing it by 6:20)
or helping with setup for the supper or after-service cleanup, please contact Donna
Stock at soupstock2@msn.com or 425-226-9023.)

Good Friday April 3rd 7:00pm: Come for a contemplative worship at 7:00 p.m. featuring the Seven
Last Words of Christ and our guitar ensemble.

Easter Sunday April 5th: Come celebrate the new life we have in Christ! We’ll rise early to
rejoice in the resurrection of Christ with a sunrise service at 6:30 a.m. Services in
the sanctuary will be at 9:00 am and 11:00 am. We share in Holy Communion at
both services. Nursery care will be provided at both services.

Please bring cut flowers to decorate our Easter cross outside, near the main front
entrance. It will be full of color and is a great place to take pictures.
Consider leaving the parking places closer to the front for our guests as they arrive
for Easter worship.

Easter Egg Stuffing
It’s Easter Egg Hunt Time and we need your help!
Join us after worship on March 22 and March 29 in the Parlor to stuff eggs for the Easter Egg hunt.

New Membership Sunday - March 29th
We are so grateful to recently receive new members into our church family. The
next date we’ll receive new members is Sunday, March 29.
If you’re curious about membership, look for the brochure and other information in
the narthex on the wall holder of brochures (as you move from the narthex out to
the patio. It’s called “So you’re thinking about joining the Church.”
Also, contact Pastor Cathy at pastorcathy@fairwoodumc.org. She’ll find a time for an orientation and class prior to that Sunday.

UMCOR Giving Day March 15th
UMCOR, the United Methodist Committee on Relief, responds to disasters and other
work around the United States as well as around the world.
UMCOR Sunday is March 15, a time when our gifts support their administrative
costs. The offerings we give for UMCOR Sunday will make sure that 100% of gifts
designated for a specific need will go entirely for that need. You can contribute on
our website GIVE page, or donate via cash or check (payable to FCUMC). Just note
that it’s for UMCOR Sunday.

Youth Choir 
Children invited to join Youth Choir to sing on Palm Sunday:
We are inviting all children kindergarten and older to join the Youth Choir in
working on songs to sing on March 29th (Palm Sunday). We will practice for two
weeks (March 15th & 22nd) after church in the choir room from 11:15 – 11:35.
We have had a few requests by children who are interested in singing and we are
hoping there are more out there who would like to join. The songs will be easy and
fun!
