Easter Week
Join us for Holy Week worship! All worship services (except Easter Sunrise) will be
livestreamed to YouTube and our website.

Palm Sunday: We’ll use palm branches as we remember Jesus entering Jerusalem for the
Passover festival. It’s the start of the events that eventually led to his death on a cross.

Maundy Thursday: 6:30 p.m. simple soup supper in the MPR/gym and 7:15 p.m. worship
in the sanctuary. If you can contribute a pot of soup (bringing it by 6:20) or helping with
setup for the supper or after-service cleanup, please contact Donna Stock at
soupstock2@msn.com or 425-226-9023.)

Good Friday: Come for a contemplative worship at 7:00 p.m. featuring the Seven Last
Words of Christ and our guitar ensemble.

Easter Sunday: Come celebrate the new life we have in Christ! We’ll rise early to rejoice in
the resurrection of Christ with a sunrise service at 6:30 a.m. Services in the sanctuary will
be at 9:00 am and 11:00 am. We share in Holy Communion at both services. Nursery care
will be provided at both services. Easter Egg hunt for our kids between services.
Please bring cut flowers to decorate our Easter cross outside, near the main front entrance.
It will be full of color and is a great place to take pictures.

Consider leaving the parking places closer to the front for our guests as they arrive for
Easter worship.

Maundy Thursday Service
Our tradition of a simple soup supper on Maundy Thursday continues! We’ll share
soup and bread together (in the gym/MPF) before our service where we remember
the Last Supper that Jesus shared with his disciples.
The soup supper starts in the gym/MPR at 6:30pm. The service in the sanctuary
starts at 7:15pm. Our adult choir will be singing for the service.
If you can help by providing a pot of soup, having it here by 6:20pm, please let
Donna S. know.
If you can help with setup of the soup supper (5:30) or cleanup after the service,

No Kings Rally - Renton Landing 3/28/26
Join others in speaking out for social justice at the No Kings rally at the Renton
Landing on Saturday, March 28th. We’ll be carpooling from the church, meeting at
11:15, leaving by 11:30.
The rally is scheduled from noon to 1:00. Participants will be on the corners and
streets in front of Red Robin and Boeing, officially at 719 N 10th St. You don’t need
to sign up for carpooling, but let rally organizers know you’re coming here:

Church Work Party
Join us in an ALL-CHURCH Work Party! There will be outdoor and indoor work to
do. Some loaner tools and equipment will be available, but it might be good to
bring your own that you’re comfortable with.

Time: 9:00 am – noon
Tools needed: week whacker, pruning clippers, blower, etc…

Egg Stuffing
It’s Easter Egg Hunt Time and we need your help!
Join us after worship on March 22 and March 29 in the Parlor to stuff eggs for the
Easter Egg hunt.

New Member Orientation
We are so grateful to recently receive new members into our church family. The
next date we’ll receive new members is Sunday, March 29.
If you’re curious about membership, look for the brochure and other information in
the narthex on the wall holder of brochures (as you move from the narthex out to
the patio. It’s called “So you’re thinking about joining the Church.”
Also, contact Pastor Cathy at pastorcathy@fairwoodumc.org. She’ll find a time for
an orientation and class prior to that Sunday.
