Book Study - Life After Doom-Wisdom and Courage For a World Falling Apart
In person or Online Sunday Evenings April 26-May 17th 6:30 (75-90 minutes) BH2
Description: the book is a helpful guide for navigating climate crisis and systemic
collapse--written with a hopeful mindset. Through the lens of faith, the author
challenges end times theologies and encourages a shift towards love, justice, and
collaboration. The book has heavy contents and there are sections that are
emotionally hard to read because it tackles the likelihood of civilizational collapse.
This book may not be for everyone, so please discern and pray about it.
If you are deeply curious and have a profound concern with the current climate
crisis, please let Pastor Ferdie know if you want to join on or before April 23 by
emailing: pastorferdie@fairwoodumc.org.
You need to get your own book, as the church will not be providing them. If you need help getting a book, contact Donna
S.
To join in person, to go Benedict Hall, classroom 2 (on left side as you go down the
hall). To join via Zoom, contact Pastor Ferdie.
