Peace with Justice Offering
“Peace with Justice” Sunday is one of the United Methodist special giving Sundays.
On Peace with Justice Sunday, United Methodists come together to speak out for
justice and peace. Grounded in our Social Principles, we are called to love our
enemies, seek justice, and serve as peacemakers in a world longing for healing. We
renew our commitment to transform the world by working across nations, reducing
reliance on weapons, and addressing the root causes of conflict with lasting, just
solutions.
Donations to this offering are split with half going to our Pacific Northwest
Conference and half going to United Methodist worldwide projects. Grants are
available to churches and organizations working on initiatives that promote peace,
challenge injustice, and empower underrepresented communities—especially Ethnic
and Minority Local Churches.
You may donate in-person, using the offering envelopes in the bulletins, or write a
check (“Peace with Justice” on memo line), or donate online at our website’s GIVE
page (www.fairwoodumc.org/give).
